Documents To Accompany Application

a) in the case of an individual
(I) a certificate showing that the applicant possesses a degree or diploma in accounting or auditing, as the case may be, from a local institution or an institution of international repute acceptable to the Authority or that the applicant has obtained such adequate knowledge and experience in the field of employment to perform the functions and duties of an accountant or auditor, as may be determined by the Ministry responsible for Finance;
* Auditor to be registered with Registrar of Companies as an Auditor

(ii) a certificate showing that the applicant for the time being is registered with the Public Accountants Board and the Institute of Certified Accountants of Seychelles;

b) in the case of a firm, the relevant certificate specified in paragraph (a) in respect of each of the partners of the firm;

c) in the case of a corporate body –

(I) documentary proof to the satisfaction of the Authority that the corporate body has in its employment persons who satisfy the requirement of paragraph (a);
(ii) a true copy of the certificate incorporation and memorandum of association;

d) where an applicant wishes to be appointed as an Auditor of a Company incorporated under the Companies Act, a copy of the approval given by the Registrar of Companies;

License Condition

To comply with licences (professional services) regulations, 2011

– services as accountant to be provided by :-

‘’Once Issued, Licence Fee is Non-Refundable’’.

1. If there’s any change of partnership/ownership/shareholder of the company the authority should be informed of the change thereafter in writing within 14 days.

2. To respect the dealine for completion of work agreed with clients.

The holder of a licence under these regulations, may, subject tothe trades tax act,import and sell goods specified in the licence where the holder is required to supply the goods as part of the service which the holder holds a licence.
