Driving License
Local Driving License
When residents are applying for a local driving license, the applicant must:
- Complete a driving license application form.
- Attach a Competency Certificate from the Commissioner of Police that the applicant is capable of driving and fully controlling the vehicle in respect of which the application is made or a valid foreign driving permit.
- License fee of SR 500 for 10 years.
When non-residents are applying for a local driving license, the applicant must produce:
- His/Her valid foreign driving license
- Government Occupancy Permit (GOP)
- Seychelles National Identity Card
- Passport.
International Driving Permit
When applying for an International driving permit, the applicant must:
- Own a valid Seychelles driving licence
- Bring along one passport-size photograph
- Licence fee of SR500.00 for one year.
There is a fee of SR50.00 for Duplicate Driving License, both local and international driving license.

(24 years+)
Taxi (Must have 5 years or more driving experience)
(18 years+)
Private Omnibus from 10 seater onwards
(any other vehicle ) by name eg: Loader, Excavator, Tractor, etc.
(18 year+)
Private vehicles including commercial vehicle not exceeding 2000kg
(18 years+)
Commercial Vehicles in between 2000 kg to 5000kg
(24 years+)
Public Omnibus from 10 seater onwards
