Seychelles Licensing Authority launches their Strategic plan for the year 2024 - 2026

The Seychelles Licensing Authority (SLA) saw the launching of its first strategic plan on Friday, 28th February 2025, during a ceremony that was attended by the Minister for Investment Entrepreneurship & Industry Minister Devika Vidot, SLA Board Members, Principal secretaries and CEOs from key partners, and the Executive, Management and staff representatives from SLA.
The work was initiated in 2023, led by the CEO of SLA, Mr Ronny Antat.
The Strategic plan outlined six long term goals for the period 2024-2027 namely:

- Facilitate the ease of doing business

- Advance technological innovation and adoption

- Optimise data management
-
- Ensure regulatory compliance
-
- Enhance stakeholder’s engagement and support
-
- Optimise human capital development and foster a positive workplace environment
Through strategic planning, SLA identified four strategic priorities in alignment with its long term goals. These are initiatives to:

- Enhance the ease of doing business,

- Strengthen compliance and enforcement measures,
-
- Foster stakeholder engagement and support, and
-
- Improve operational effectiveness.
Having a strategic plan also allows SLA to make informed budget requests, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to support its long-term goals and operational requirements. Overall, this strategic plan will serve as a roadmap for SLA, guiding its actions and decisions to create a vibrant and sustainable business ecosystem in Seychelles.
