Documents To Accompany Application

a) in the case of an individual

(I) a certificate from the Estate Agent Board that the applicant is registered as an Estate Agent under section 4 of the Estate Agent Act;

(ii) a certificate from the Estate Agent Board that the applicant has furnished security in accordance with section 7 of the Estate Agent Act;

b) in the case of firm, the certificate specified in paragraph (a) in respect of each of the partners of the firm;

c) in the case of a corporate body

(i) Documentary proof to the satisfaction of the authority that the corporate body has in its employment persons who satisfy the requirements of paragraph (a);
(ii) a true copy of the certificate of incorporation and memorandum of association.

License Condition

The holder of a licence under these regulations, may, subject tothe trades tax act, import and sell goods specified in the licence where the holder is required to supply the goods as part of the service which the holder holds a licence.

To comply with licences (professional services) regulations, 2011 …………

– to provide good quality service to the public.

– provide security in accordance with section 7 of the estate agent act in the form of either : 1. A professional indemnity insurance policy
2. A bond of a bank
3. A first line deposit in the treasury
4. A cash deposit in the treasury

To cover the licence holder against any claim by clients in the event that it is unable to discharge its obligation when services required have been used or paid for, as may be
Required by the authority.
